And the nation's takeaway favourites for watching the Euros have been revealed by health and Wellness specialists Eden’s Gate.
Chinese takeaway is the nation’s overall favourite food and no more so than in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen where most of us fancied a side portion of prawn crackers.
Chicken Chilli Chow Mein was the overall favourite dish in Scotland for the England vs Denmark game.
Unanimously, Scots agree that Fish and Chips is the next best thing to get us through an exciting match and in Edinburgh Fish and Chips with the capitals, chippy sauce equalled the number of Chinese takeaway searches.
Coming in third across Scotland was a Curry and fourth was the classic Pizza.
In Aberdeen, these were the only takeaways that would do the job but in Glasgow and Edinburgh, some opted for Thai, Sushi, Italian, Kebab, Burgers or Southern Fried Chicken.
Across the UK, Thai takeaway searches soared 34.29% during the Euros which beats the number of us eating Pizza. and Sushi takeaway popularity dropped by 75.61%.
