Euro 2020 Round of 16, fixtures, quarter-final draw, who plays when and all you need to know

Home nations England and Wales made it through the group stages of Euro 2020 but sadly Scotland failed to make it out.

All of the big hitters also advanced into the knockouts as Italy quickly asserted themselves as tournament favourites whilst Holland shook off European Championship nightmares of competitions gone by.

Three-time winners Spain scraped through thanks to their emphatic 5-0 win over Slovakia after they picked up two draws from their opening games.

Wales survived with the emphatic Italians romping to the top of Group A as their 2-0 win over Turkey secured qualification as runners-up.

England had to wait until the final matchday to have their fate confirmed, although it was done without a ball being kicked meaning their clash with the Czech Republic would just determine the winner of the group but Croatia's 3-1 win over Scotland saw them leapfrog Tomas Soucek's side into second.

The Three Lions' group win booked their spot at Wembley but on Wednesday night their opponents were confirmed in the form of three-time winners Germany.
