The guest list for tonight’s Euro 2020 final between England and Italy has been announced, with many familiar faces set to be in attendance.
The Three Lions are in their first major final since 1966 and looking to win their first European Championship with victory over the Italians.
Gareth Southgate’s side secured a 2-1 after extra time victory over Denmark in their semi-final tie earlier this week to set up another Wembley showpiece occasion.
Meanwhile Italy also needed extra time and then a penalty shootout in their semi-final as they saw off Spain.
With thousands of people set to be in attendance to watch the final at Wembley, it has been announced who is on the official guestlist.
UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin, UEFA general secretary Theodoros Theodoridis and FIFA president Gianni Infantino will be at Wembley tonight, as will Italian FA president Gabriele Gravina and English FA chairman Peter McCormick.
Members of the Royal family will also be in attendance, with the Duke of Cambridge, the Duchess of Cambridge, Prince George of Cambridge, as will Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Mayor of London Sadiq Khan, who are also joined by President of Italy Sergio Mattarella and Undersecretary of State of Sport Valentina Vessali.
As well as famous faces in the political world, several past footballers are also invited to watch tonight’s game.
Former Everton striker Wayne Rooney as well as ex-Manchester United star David Beckham have been invited, as has England legend Sir Geoff Hurst.
Robbie Keane, Fabio Capello, Mauricio Pochettino, Alessandro Niesta and Gianluca Zambrotta are also on the guest list, as are world renowned actor Tom Cruise and model Kate Moss.
