Euro 2016 was the first major football tournament Wales qualified for since the World Cup in 1958, and they certainly made it count. Their amazing run was halted by Portugal in the semi-finals, but that hasn’t put a dampener on the mood. To celebrate the team’s success, a spectacular homecoming party is planned in Cardiff on Friday.
Thousands of fans are expected to line the streets of the Welsh capital for the bus parade in the afternoon, with many more expected inside the Cardiff City Stadium for the early evening party.
Are you planning to pay tribute to the team in Cardiff this afternoon? Perhaps you are travelling a fair distance to join in the celebrations? Are you disappointed that the team won’t be visiting north Wales, due to time constraints, so that more fans could have met the players? Whether you’ll be catching the party atmosphere along the city streets or are going to the party, share your photos and videos of this triumphant event with us. We’ll hopefully feature a selection of them on the site.
