After years of delays, Euphoria season three is finally here, and if you’ve already watched the first episode, you don’t have long to wait to watch the second. Returning with a healthy dose of controversy thanks to some pretty wild storylines (hello, Cassie’s new OnlyFans era), viewers are just as obsessed as they were with season 2.
A lot has happened since we last watched our gang of self-destructive teens four years ago. Zendaya’s Rue is working as a drug mule in Mexico, Jules (Hunter Schafer) is living as a sugarbaby in a Los Angeles penthouse, while Nate (Jacob Elordi) and Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) are engaged, though maybe not happily so.
”Euphoria is a generation-defining show. Not just for Zoomers, who might find this graduation into real life uncomfortably bourgeois, but for our present moment,” said The Independent’s chief TV critic Nick Hilton in his review. “A vapid show about vapidity, a materialist show about materialism: Euphoria owns its contradictions, and, in this final season, shows it’s mastered them.”
