Euan Henderson signs new Hearts contract as club ties down another young talent

Euan Henderson became the latest young player to commit his future to Hearts by signing a new contract.

The forward has penned a two year extension to his deal at Tynecastle and will remain at the club until the summer of 2022.

Henderson’s original deal was up the summer but he’s joined fellow youngster Lewis Moore in extending his stay in Gorgie.

Jamie Brandon has also been offered a new deal and talks continue over the full back’s future.

Henderson benefited from the arrival of Daniel Stendel last season, racking up nine appearances under the German after featuring just twice up until his arrival under Craig Levein.

He bagged his first senior goal for the Jambos in the 5-0 Scottish Cup rout of Airdrie in January.

Henderson, who also played rugby at school, spent the previous season on loan at Montrose before returning to Tynecastle last summer.
