The Remain and Out campaigns will clash on television tonight in the first set-piece debate of the EU referendum campaign.

Former first minister Alex Salmond and Labour politician Alan Johnson will take on Ukip's Diane James and Tory MP Liam Fox.

The debate, broadcast from Glasgow, is aimed at young voters. The programme will be hosted by BBC presenter Victoria Derbyshire.

It will be followed by a standard BBC Question Time event with Ed Miliband, Caroline Lucas, David Davis, Steve Hilton, and Dreda Say Mitchell.
