One of Liverpool’s restaurants has closed its doors - but it’s not for long.
Et Alia on Aigburth Road has become a Liverpool institution since it opened in 2013, and has even become a hot spot celebrities.
Earlier this month the hugely popular restaurant closed suddenly, leaving customers wondering just why the shutters were down on the family favourite venue.
However, to put customers at ease the restaurant posted on social media to announce that the restaurant would be undergoing a refurbishment.
The post read: “Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
“Our restaurant will be closed for the next 2/3 weeks due to refurbishment”.
Many customers have responded to the news, leaving comments such as “Gonna miss you!”.
One customer said: “Gutted! We were planning on coming this weekend!”.
The restaurant, which specialises in contemporary takes on Italian classics such as pizza, pasta and Mediterranean, offers a relaxed dining experience - and it’ll be back open before you know it.
