Estimates as it happened: $20 million price tag for DSS redundancies

Good morning and welcome to week two, day three of Senate estimates.

New officials will front up to senators in the committees. Representatives from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Department of Social Services, and Department of Education will be first cabs off the rank.

Foreign Affairs and Social Services will be in the hot seat of their committee the entire day.

Later in the day, we will hear from the Australian Taxation Office, the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority and the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.
