MIAMI _ A dump truck slammed into Gloria and Emilio Estefan's Crescent Moon Studios on Bird Road in South Miami Monday morning.
According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, two people were injured in the crash at Southwest 40th Street and 62nd Avenue and taken to a local hospital. Two others had minor injuries.
Rescuers say the truck collided with a sport utility vehicle before it hit the building.
The extent of the damage inside the studio was not immediately clear. Reached by phone, a woman at the studio confirmed it had been hit but did not provide further details. A Miami Herald reporter's attempt to enter the studio was unsuccessful. Emilio Estefan and his representative did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
