ESPN simulation projects Raiders to win 8 games in 2019

The Oakland Raiders have made significant upgrades on both sides of the ball this offseason, and it’s almost time for the team to showcase their new added talent. But how much better can Oakland get in just one offseason?

With the 2019 season just a few days away, ESPN decided to run a simulation of the upcoming year. Surprisingly, Oakland fared well, winning eight games. Here is how the AFC finished in ESPN’s simulation:

Considering the other teams in the division and their schedule, an 8-8 season would be a massive step in the right direction for the Raiders. Oakland has an outside chance to make the playoffs in 2019, and it appears people (and computers) believe they will be a better team this season.

We will find out in less than a week just how much better Oakland is this year.
