ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith calls for the Redskins to fire Jay Gruden

While the football world is busy watching the Washington Redskins embarrass themselves on the field against the Chicago Bears, call for coach Jay Gruden’s job are starting to pick up steam.

Most notably, ESPN’s analyst, Stephen A. Smith, tweeted late in the fourth quarter that he thinks Gruden will be fired soon. The tweet came after Case Keenum had thrown his second interception of the night, and the Bears were looking to go up 28-0 before the half.

Though he is one for hot takes, this is actually pretty calm when you consider rants from Stephen A. in the past.

If the game keeps going the way it currently is, there is a growing chance that Stephen A. will be opening First Take on Tuesday morning with the news that the Redskins have let Gruden go.

It will surely be an epic rant, should it happen.
