ESPN releases way-too-early FPI rankings for 2019 season

ESPN released its way-too-early Football Power Index rankings for the 2019 season Thursday and it’s safe to say fans are not too happy with some of the decisions that were made.

The pieces that stood out were LSU and Michigan being ranked in the Top 5, with Ohio State left out of the Top 10.

On top of those three main storylines, the SEC had five of the Top 10 teams, including Alabama, Georgia, the Tigers, Gators and Auburn.

A complete list of the Top 10 rankings can be found below.

  3. Georgia
  4. LSU
  5. Michigan
  6. Oklahoma
  7. Notre Dame
  8. Florida
  9. Auburn
  10. Oregon
