Bill Barnwell from ESPN did his best to project what the over/under for NFL teams in 2019 as far as win totals are concerned.
He gave the Vikings’ over/under at nine wins, which seems about right considering the team’s 2018 season and what they’ve done this offseason.
Minnesota underperformed in 2018, finishing at 8-7-1.
The team hasn’t drastically improved this offseason – if anything the team has taken a step back.
But the Vikings will likely further address the offensive line in the draft and rest of free agency, which should have a trickle down effect on the offense in general improving.
The team lost Sheldon Richardson, Latavius Murray, Andrew Sendejo and Marcus Sherels in free agency.
To round out the NFC North, the Packers’ win total is listed as 8.5, the Lions is at seven and the Bears is at 10.5.
As far as Vikings Wire is concerned, give us the over for the Vikings and Packers, and the under for Bears and Lions.
