ESPN NFL draft predictor shows most likely players available to Bengals at No. 31

As the days wind down toward the draft and mocks drafts finalize, we start to see who are realistic options for each team at their respective draft positions.

ESPN came out with a new analytic tool called the Draft Day Predictor that shows the players most likely to be available for each team at each pick up to pick No. 96. It also shows the likelihood of players being taken at a certain pick.

For the Cincinnati Bengals at No. 31, the player ESPN has with the best of being taken at that spot is Iowa center Tyler Linderbaum. The tool has a wide variety of players with a chance, which certainly makes sense at pick 31, which is why even at the top, Linderbaum has about an 8 percent chance of being the pick for the Bengals.

Following Linderbaum, at about a 7 percent chance, is Boston College OG Zion Johnson. Other players with at least a 5 percent chance of being the pick at 31 include Texas A&M OG Kenyon Green, Clemson CB Andrew Booth Jr., Georgia DT Devonte Wyatt and Minnesota Edge Boye Mafe.

ESPN’s predictor gives Linderbaum about a 25 percent chance of still being available at pick 31. The spot where the predictor actually believes is the most likely spot for Linderbaum is at No. 28 by the Packers, about 10 percent.
