ESPN names Raiders as ‘most-improved’ team in 2019

The Oakland Raiders have dramatically improved their roster this offseason. They’ve added Pro Bowl talent on both sides of the ball and used their top four draft picks to add high-character players at positions of need.

But how much has Oakland improved in comparison to the rest of the league? According to ESPN’s Dan Graziano, the Raiders are the league’s most improved team. Take a look at his thoughts below:

I count as many as eight potential Raiders starters who weren’t on their roster when the 2018 season ended. They traded for Antonio Brown, hit free agency hard and picked four players in the first two rounds of the draft who have a chance to play a lot of snaps this year. Last year was a tough tear-down, but this year’s Raiders roster looks more like what Jon Gruden is trying to build.

The Raiders might not be a playoff team in 2019, but they certainly have a better roster now than they did at this time last year. Look for Oakland to become contenders in 2019.
