ESPN leaves Bulldogs off list of CFB’s instant impact freshmen for 2019

Despite having two 5-star Freshman coming in for the 2019 season, including the 2nd and 14th overall ranked prospects, ESPN did not list any of the UGA freshmen on its College Football Instant Impact Freshman list for 2019. The two snubbed Georgia freshman that come to mind are defensive end Nolan Smith (2nd overall, 2nd DE) and center Clay Webb (14th overall, 1st OC).

Among the included in this list are conference foes Bo Nix of Auburn, a 4 star QB, and former 5 star running back recruit John Emery of LSU,
