ESPN gives Steelers a C for their 2019 offseason

In terms of activity, this was easily the busiest offseason in recent history for the Pittsburgh Steelers. The team not only divested themselves of much of the drama that plagued them last season but also added some significant talent on both sides of the football. After missing the playoffs last season Pittsburgh looks read to reload and make a push.

But ESPN doesn’t seem to share the enthusiasm most fans have when they gave out their grades for the offseason. In their latest grades piece, they gave the Steelers a C for their moves.

The gist of the article is fairly simple. The team has gone all in on quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and have basically thrown the offense on his back. This team has always been as good as Big Ben but this will be especially true this season.

However, don’t discount how much better the defense will be this time around. Pittsburgh has put a ton of work into making this defense more formidable, particularly against the pass.

What grade would you give the Steelers for their offseason moves?
