ESPN FPI projects final 4 UGA games

Recently, ESPN’s football power index (FPI) released its projections for the final month of the college season, which included the Georgia Bulldogs’ final four contests.

Coming off of an impressive win over the rival Florida Gators, ESPN’s projections showed the Dawgs some love.

Here are the percentage chances that ESPN gives UGA for its remaining games:

  • Nov. 9 vs. Missouri (87.1-percent)
  • Nov. 16 at No. 12 Auburn (45.3-percent)
  • Nov. 23 vs. Texas A&M (82.5-percent)
  • Nov. 30 at Georgia Tech (97.2-percent)

Obviously, the notable projection here is the Auburn contest, that has the Dawgs projected to lose to a Tigers team that has two losses itself and needed some unbelievable luck to squeeze past the lowly Ole Miss Rebels this past week.

However, the FPI also predicts the Dawgs to easily win their other contests outside of the November 16 visit to Auburn.

While these projections are practically meaningless, they are still a good talking point and will be interesting to look back on after we know the real results of these contests.
