Legendary Bollywood actor Dharmendra is soon going to bring back the magic of his acting on the big screen for filmmaker Karan Johar’s next ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. What makes the movie even more special is the fact that he’s going to portray a romantic character opposite Jaya Bachchan. That has got the fans even more excited.
To talk about this development, ETimes got in touch with Dharmendra and Hema Malini’s daughter, actor Esha Deol Takhtani, who has recently donned the producer's hat. Flying high on the success of her recently released OTT film, an excited Esha tells us, “I’m really looking forward to seeing him back on screen with another favourite of mine, Jaya aunty. I love her. Karan Johar makes brilliant films so we will all look forward to watching Rocky Aur Rani for sure. I wish them all of the best!”
When asked about Hema Malini’s upcoming project, the actress-producer spilled the beans and said that the veteran actress is sorting scripts for herself. She said, “She is not very easy to please!”
“An actor will always be an actor, so she is again looking for the right script to come her way, to give her time, energy, passion towards her craft. I think just that one script needs to click with her and she will do it” Esha signed off.
