A hospital campaigner has told how he is worried an ambulance wouldn't be able to get to an emergency unti at hospital as the Erskine Bridge is currently closed.
Traffic Scotland confirmed that Police Scotland requested the route be shut from 2.30pm this afternoon "for public safety".

A member of Save the Vale told the Lennox Herald this afternoon: "The A82 is gridlocked and no emergency services will be able to get through to any of the hospitals with A&E facilities."

Port authorities yesterday declined the Rainbow Warrior’s request to berth in Glasgow but Greenpeace said that the captain has “decided to ignore the warnings” and will attempt to dock later today.
