The Erskine Bridge has been closed this morning as a result of a police incident.
Officers from Police Scotland were called to the A898 road just after 11am earlier today.
The bridge, which connects with across the River Clyde, has been closed in both directions as cops deal with the situation.
There is heavy traffic in the area due to the closure with urging motorists to use .
A Police Scotland statement read: "Due to an ongoing police incident the southbound side of the #ErskineBridge #A898 is closed at present.
"Please follow @trafficscotland @ScotTranserv for further updates."
