Eros Grezda suffers Rangers blow as Albanian flop is dropped by Colts team

Rangers flop Eros Grezda suffered a further blow to his career after being left out of the Colts team to face Wrexham.

Grezda has been a regular in the young side during their Tunnock's Caramel Wafer campaign but was left out for the visit of the English National League side.

Rangers are only allowed to play two overage players and decided to put George Edmundson and Jon Flanagan in to get some match fitness with neither player getting much first team game time in recent weeks.

Defender Flanagan has been injured while Edmundson is behind Connor Goldson, Filip Helander and Niko Katic in the pecking order since making the move from Oldham in the summer.

Grezda scored two during Graeme Murty's side's win over Solihull Moors in the last round.

Youngster Dapo Mebude was also missing from the Rangers team who appeared to line up without a recognised forward.

Serge Atakayi played through the middle with Kai Kennedy and James Maxwell on the wings.
