Erling Haaland transfer news as Barcelona talks undermined by striker's real 'preference'

In-demand Erling Haaland reportedly prefers a move to Real Madrid.

That's despite the Borussia Dortmund star's entourage landing in Spain this week for talks with arch-rivals Barcelona.

The prolific Norwegian forward's future looks set to dominate the upcoming summer transfer window.

Barca, Madrid, Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool are just some of the clubs linked with the former RB Salzburg talent.

He's taken European football by storm over the past year and fees upward of £150million have been quoted in the race to secure his signature.

As ever, it seems, agent Mino Raiola is at the heart of proceedings, with he and Haaland's father - former Manchester City star Alf Inge - pictured in the Catalan capital.

It's said similar meetings have been lined up at Chelsea, Man United and Man City in a bid to surely raise the stakes ahead of the summer.

AS report the Bernabeu is where the 20-year-old wishes to end up but it appears Madrid have already set their stall out by declaring to Haaland's camp they are not interested in a bidding war.

Dortmund have also reportedly reminded his entourage they do wish to sell him.
