Erling Haaland has been tipped to sign for a Premier League club - but unfortunately not Leeds United.
After being born in the city, the Borussia Dortmund striker has previously spoken of his dream to play for the Whites.
He also recently swapped shirts with Stuart Dallas when playing against Northern Ireland for Denmark.
Yet RB Salzburg sporting director Christoph Freund says he expects his former striker to move to Liverpool.
Freund knows Haaland well, with the 20-year-old moving to Salzburg from Molde in 2018 before moving to Borussia Dortmund in January.
When asked if Haaland will move to another European giant like Liverpool, Freund said he was in no doubt about the striker's future destination.
"He will land there," he replied.
Freund added to Sky90: "He can play for any club in the world. With his mentality, his will and self confidence, he will be able to make a mark on European football in the next ten years."
Haaland's record at Salzburg was incredible, netting 28 goals in 22 games, and the director paid tribute to his former player.
"Erling really bit us," he said. "The talks with Dortmund were short. They told they had come to an agreement. we didn’t have that much influence on it, but it worked out correctly.
"Many clubs were interested and go it in touch. In the end, it was a decision made by the player."
The tip will come as a blow to Whites fans who may have been holding out hope that Haaland may follow up on his comments saying it would be a dream to play for Leeds in the Premier League.
