Erling Haaland tipped for bigger 'impact' than Liverpool's Darwin Nunez as Mohamed Salah claim made

Glen Johnson believes Liverpool have a better front three than Premier League champions Manchester City and labelled Mohamed Salah as the 'best striker' in the league.

Former Manchester City captain Richard Dunne selected a front three of Jack Grealish, Phil Foden and new City striker Erling Haaland as better than what Liverpool have to offer.

Dunne touched on how he believes City's new striker Haaland will 'outperform' Liverpool new boy Darwin Nunez in the upcoming season. Nunez scored his first competitive goal for the Reds in Saturday's 3-1 win over City in the Community Shield.

Speaking in a video with Betway, ex-England international Johnson said: " I’m doing it without (Erling) Haaland based on he hasn’t done anything yet. Nunez is my gamble, (Luis) Diaz is top class, (Mohamed) Salah probably the best striker in the league. If Nunez can get it right in the league, I think that front three will be more dynamic than the others until Haaland performs."

Dunne expectedly went with City's front three as the best and he explained his reasons why: " (Phil) Foden is an unbelievable footballer, Jack Grealish is going to improve massively this year then you add in Erling Haaland. I don’t think Nunez is going to have the same impact as Haaland."
