Haaland: “I took it again and scored when he didn’t cheat”

Haaland scored twice in the first leg of the last-16 tie to leave Dortmund heading into their home leg 3-2 up on aggregate.
The Norwegian star has made a habit of scoring Champions League goals, and had his 19th in 14 games in the competition with a close-range finish 35 minutes in.
That goal left Sevilla needing to score at least three in the second half, but it was Haaland again who added the next goal - though there was some controversy around it.
Haaland initially thought he had scored three minutes after the restart, but his goal was ruled out by VAR - though he was also awarded a penalty for an earlier foul by Jules Kounde.
The striker stepped up to take the spot-kick, but saw his effort saved by Bounou before being denied on the rebound - but the penalty was order to be retaken after the Sevilla goalkeeper was spotted to have come off his line.

Haaland didn’t make the same mistake at the second attempt, but angered Sevilla as he appeared to goad Bounou with the keeper on the floor.
Sevilla players chased the celebrating Dortmund star, who was booked along with a number of other players.
After the game, Haaland explained: “I missed and then he cheated. So then I took it again and then I scored when he didn’t cheat,” Haaland said.
“When he was screaming in my face after the first one, I was thinking, ‘oh, it’ll be even better to score another goal’. And, yeah, that’s what happened. So it was nice.”
