Erling Haaland has emerged as Chelsea's number one transfer priority this summer.
The striker has been a revelation for both Red Bull Salzburg in the Austrian League and now with Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga and at the age of 20 has the footballing world at his feet.
Haaland has 27 goals in 25 appearances for the German side this season, scoring at least once in 16 of those matches.
That followed 25 goals in 23 games for the Austrian side during two half seasons with them after signing from Norwegian side Molde.
Naturally he has plenty of suitors in Europe and Dortmund could face a barrage of enquiries for him this summer.
Haaland has a £68million release clause, which comes into effect in the summer of 2022, which would leave Dortmund looking at potentially cashing in this summer, rather than risking losing him for a reduced fee a year later.
But how much would he go for this time around and which clubs have the money to sign him?
New Blues head coach Thomas Tuchel will reportedly be given funds to spend by owner Roman Abramovich and Haaland has been named as his top transfer target.
Chelsea will, however, face competition from the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester City for the frontman's signature.
In order to sign him this summer, those clubs will have to break the bank for Haaland, who will not come cheap. Dortmund are looking for a fee in the region of £80million although they could ask for more it seems.
According to KPMG, who do yearly valuations of players based on the previous eight years' transfer prices and looking at individual players' position, age, nationality, contract length, performance, discipline, importance to the team and media and commercial potential, Haaland is worth more.
The KPMG Football Benchmark have Haaland at being worth 110million euros, around £94.6million now and the 11th most valuable player in the world.
