Erling Haaland remains one of Europe's most wanted men ahead of next summer's crucial transfer window.
The Borussia Dortmund star has continued to thrive in Germany having first made his name at Red Bull Salzburg.
The German side have reaped the rewards of adding him in January 2020 but his release clause is set to ignite a transfer war in 12 months.
62 goal in 63 appearances underline Haaland's quality and he has flourished on the biggest stage, breaking Champions League records on the way.
Dortmund have been able to rebuff offers for their star man this summer as the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City and Real Madrid weigh up moves.
But in a years time a reported £64m release clause will come into affect.
Haaland won't be short of potential destinations with agent Mino Raiola set to play a crucial role in the move.
He has already claimed that only 10 clubs could afford the Norwegian - four of which are in the Premier League.
"It is obvious that everybody is looking at Erling as one of those potential new future stars because it's so difficult to do what he does at his age at his level,” Raiola told the BBC .
"He will be one of the future stars of the next decade because we see that stars such as Ibrahimovic, Ronaldo and Messi are coming to an age where everyone asks themselves: 'How long can we still enjoy them?' So everyone is looking for the new generation.
"Only a maximum of 10 clubs can afford to buy Haaland and give the platform you would like after you've been in Dortmund, and four of those clubs are in England.
"I don't think there's a sports director or trainer in the world who would say 'not interested'. It's like saying: 'Is there a Formula 1 team who would not be interested in having Lewis Hamilton?’"
United are among those and had their sights on Haaland before he moved to Dortmund.
Bild claims that they are heading the chase for the 22-year-old as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to bolster his transfer options.

Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial are both tipped to leave next summer meaning United would need to act.
They and Liverpool are supposedly two of six clubs who Haaland would consider joining - Manchester City, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus being the other four.
The striker wants to be convinced by the ‘overall package’ of his next destination and join an ‘absolute top club’.
Jurgen Klopp has not hidden his admiration for the player and tipped his former club to brace themselves for offers, but remained tipped lipped on his own stance.
"I don't have his number!" he joked.
"He's just a very interesting player. I really like the energy he brings to the pitch. But he would generally be watched by most of the teams."
Liverpool could consider a move for Haaland if they decide to move Roberto Firmino on with the club lacking a prolific centre-forward.
Chelsea however, whilst having the finances to afford Haaland, are not among the club's tempting the Norwegian.
They made moves to sign the striker before they eventually captured Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan .
A cash-plus-player deal including Tammy Abraham was tabled, but quickly rejected by Dortmund.
Reports claim Raiola demanded the striker was handed astronomical wages of around £820,000-a-week, which would have amounted to annual earnings of around £42m.
