Erling Haaland's father, Alf-Inge, and his agent Mino Raiola were in Spain recently to discuss potential transfers to Real Madrid and Barcelona.
The two La Liga giants are among several clubs eyeing the Norwegian's signature.
Borussia Dortmund can name their price this summer ahead of Haaland's release clause coming into play in 12 months time.
As a result they may look to cash in early and both Spanish sides are keen.
Raiola and Haaland Snr held three hour talks with Los Blancos, who have long looked to attract the game's biggest names.
The Dortmund star is said to favour a move to Madrid but an interesting demand was made during their conversations.
According to Spanish radio station Onda Cero, Haaland wants to share a dressing room with Norway teammate Odegaard at the Bernabeu.
Odegaard has barely featured under Zinedine Zidane and was sent out on loan to Arsenal in January.
The playmaker doesn't appear to be part of Zidane's plans in Spain, but Haaland is adamant that he wants Odegaard to be a first team regular.
The 22-year-old loanee is reportedly desperate to prove himself at Madrid despite talk of a permanent switch to Arsenal.
Odegaard has a £300m release clause however and the Gunners did not negotiate any pre-arranged fee with the Spanish side.
It could mean they are priced out of a deal while Los Blancos will have to consider Haaland's demand if they do want to sign him.
They will not be short of competition though with Raiola set to meet four Premier League clubs shortly: Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool.
City recently confirmed Sergio Aguero's departure so may be eyeing a replacement while United have long chased Haaland.
