Erling Haaland has been told he can be "one of the best ever" after he started the Bundesliga season with a bang.
The striker scored two and assisted two of Borussia Dortmund's five as they ran riot against Frankfurt.
Haaland's rapid rise has continued following his move to Germany in January 2020 and he now has 62 goals in 61 games for Dortmund.
At just 21 he is set to dominate world football for the next decade with many tipping him to win several Ballon d'Ors before his career is over.
Dortmund boast an impressive young side and his team-mate Giovanni Reyna, has waxed lyrical about the Norwegian.
"He keeps on getting better," he told Fox Sports . "It seems like every day he’s picking up something new and adding it to his game.
"It’s hard to say what the ceiling is for him. He can be unbelievable, he can be amazing. I mean, he already is. He can really be one of the best ever."
On the current Dortmund squad, Reyna added: "The team chemistry is on a high right now. It’s the best since I’ve been at Dortmund."
Haaland's goals helped new coach Marco Rose get off to the best possible start.
The German took up his post at Signal Iduna Park after leaving Borussia Monchengladbach and has joked that his star striker can celebrate in the manner he did if he continues performing.
"Erling scored two goals today and set up two goals as well. Then you are allowed to celebrate on your own in front of the South Stand," Rose said.
"If you are talking about my debut, then of course it was very successful. But it's more about the fact that we wanted to start the season well and we managed to do that.
"Things went very well for us today. In the end, it only succeeds through team-work, everyone knows that."
Dortmund's win leaves them third after the opening round of games and their next assignment sees them take on Bayern Munich in the Super Cup.
The Bavarians beat Dortmund three times last term, including once in last season's edition of the Super Cup.
Rose said: "On Tuesday, we can test ourselves against the strongest team in Germany. That's when a trophy is on the line. We want to prepare well for that."
Haaland continues to be linked with moves elsewhere, with Real Madrid particularly prominent, but Dortmund remain determined to keep him for at least another 12 months.
