Welcome to the United On My Mind daily round-up, where we take a look at some of the best Manchester United stories you might have missed.
Erling Haaland continues to be linked with a move to United and has been told a move to Old Trafford is a better fit than at rivals, Manchester City.
Paul Pogba's future seems to be up in the air now, but his short-term future looks to have been decided unless he says something to Ralf Rangnick.
Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial are two names that are both being touted for a departure, and they're now rumoured to be on Juventus' shortlist.
Haaland told United move 'fits better' than Man City
Erling Haaland is perhaps the most in-demand striker in the world at the moment, and it's looking likely that there'll be a transfer saga around him in the summer transfer window.
The MEN reported that Rangnick has spoken to Haaland's father, Alf-Inge, about a possible move to United, and since then, they've been heavily linked with a move for the Norwegian.
Manchester City has also been linked to Haaland, but German journalist Christian Falk feels there is one reason he may end up on the red side of the city.
He told BILD: "You have to say that Manchester United are following developments themselves, including the topic of Haaland.
"I've been talking about City for a while now, and of course, Haaland's name is always on the agenda.
"You have to be honest, though, with Pep Guardiola and Haaland, I don't think he really wants this striker if he can get another one because the system of play is designed differently.
"At United, Haaland fits like a glove, as our experts have said. Everything fits United perfectly."
Opinion: Haaland is a better fit at United than at City, but I also feel that it will be very tough to get him. Other clubs such as Real Madrid and Chelsea will be in for his signature, but let's wait and see!
Paul Pogba' expected' to stay
Paul Pogba's future seems to be up in the air as he still hasn't put pen to paper on a new deal at Manchester United.

ESPN have now said that United expect Pogba to stay in the January transfer window because he still hasn't requested to leave the club.
The report adds that United would be willing to let Pogba leave in January if he comes out and says he want to go. However, that hasn't happened, and he appears to want to work with Ralf Rangnick.
Pogba will be a free agent in the summer and can begin formal negotiations with clubs outside England from January 1st.
Opinion: Pogba won't sign a new deal, and he won't say he wants to leave in January because he'll be able to get a more significant contract if he goes in the summer. I think he'll eventually leave but at the end of the season.
Cavani and Martial on Juventus shortlist
Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial are two players that look set to leave United in the near-distant future.
Both haven't had that much game time for different reasons, and it feels as if their time at Old Trafford could now be over.
Tuttosport says (via SportWitness) that Juventus see an opportunity in their situations as they are inexpensive and available immediately.
They say Cavani could move on with his contract expiring, while Martial wouldn't be available for a bargain price, but there is 'no feeling' between his camp and Ralf Rangnick, so a move could still materialise.
Opinion: It does feel like Cavani's, and Martial's careers at Old Trafford are over. I do think Martial will go to Sevilla.
