Erling Haaland finally reacts to Jadon Sancho's transfer to Manchester United

Erling Haaland has finally reacted to Jadon Sancho's imminent transfer to Manchester United - with a crying emoji.

Haaland and Sancho played together for a season after the Norwegian joined Borussia Dortmund from RB Salzburg in 2020.

But in the short space of time, they struck up a sensational understanding on the pitch, which has seen both players garner the attention of top clubs in Europe.

In one of the last games the pair played together they won the German Cup, beating RB Leipzig 4-1 in the final.

Haaland has been linked with a transfer this summer, but it is Sancho who is the first to move after failing to secure a switch to Manchester United last season.

Sancho has already agreed on terms with United, in a deal worth an eyewatering £73million, and is expected to be formally introduced as a new signing after the Euros.

It is unclear whether Haaland will also leave Dortmund this month.

But one thing we do know is the Norway international is going to miss playing alongside the Englishman next season.

Sancho, who is currently on international duty at the Euros, uploaded a picture of himself in England training gear to Instagram this week alongside a smiling emoji.

Haaland responded to the message with a crying emoji in reaction to his United move.

Sancho made his first start at the Euros for England in the 4-0 win over Ukraine last time out and is in contention to feature again in Wednesday night's semi-final with Denmark.

Should England beat the Danes they set up a final with Italy, who knocked Spain out of the competition on Tuesday.
