Erling Haaland 'confirms' future transfer move amid Liverpool links

Erling Haaland has confirmed where he intends to play in his career amid links with a move to Liverpool.

The Borussia Dortmund striker has been tentatively linked with the Reds over the past 12 months or so, along with a host of other clubs across Europe.

Barcelona and Real Madrid have been credited as two of the front runners in the race to sign the Norway international.

Other clubs in England linked with Haaland include Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United, while Bundesliga giants have also been credited with an interest.

Reports earlier this week claimed that Haaland was more likely to move to Spain when the time comes for him to leave Dortmund.

Now, in a report in Diario AS, Haaland has seemingly confirmed those suggestions are true.

The 21-year-old is currently on holiday in Marbella, and is said to have been approached by a group of locals who asked where his next move will be.

Haaland is said to have responded to the question: "I will play here, in Spain."

Mino Raiola, Haaland’s agent, admitted last month that Haaland could remain at Dortmund beyond the summer.

The agent was asked whether he would “wait” for a move to Barcelona, due to their current financial situation.

"Could Haaland wait for Barcelona? He can wait for anybody," Raiola told NOS (h/t AS ).

"We'll look for the best option for him and I can't rule out another year at Dortmund. Theoretically, that's still possible."
