Erling Haaland Barcelona transfer bombshell as Manchester City target's agent and father fly in for talks

Erling Haaland's agent Mino Raiola and the player's father have arrived in Barcelona as rumours of a move to Camp Nou explode.

The Borussia Dortmund striker is considered one of the top talents in world football, and is on the radar of the biggest clubs in Europe.

Manchester City, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are all keen but it appears Barça may have stolen a march on their rivals.

Catlan newspaper Sport has obtained video of Raiola and Alf-Inge Haaland arriving in the city.

The pair were then whisked away in a car by what the paper claims to be aides to president Joan Laporta.

Haaland is believed to have a £68million release clause in his contract but that doesn't become active until the summer of 2022.

It therefore makes sense for Dortmund to sell this summer when they can set any price they like.

Haaland wouldn't come cheap for Barcelona but his signing could help convince club legend Lionel Messi to remain at Camp Nou.

Agent Raiola is a shrewd and tough operator though and is sure to want to speak to other clubs before any deal is agreed.

According to Sky Italia's Fabrizio Romano he held talks with Dortmund earlier this week before flying out to Barcelona.
