Erling Haaland a 'key factor' in Manchester City's next transfer wish and more rumours

Erling Haaland is attempting to persuade Jude Bellingham into signing for Manchester City - according to reports.

Haaland, 22, continues to take the Premier League by storm after leaving Borussia Dortmund this summer while his former teammate remains with the Bundesliga giants. However, similarly to Haaland, the England sensation is ready to be chased by elite clubs from across Europe next season.

Spanish publication Marca claim Bellingham is being tracked by Champions League winners Real Madrid and there are suggestions that it would actually be his preferred destination when leaving Dortmund. According to the same article, Bellingham would cost potential buyers around the £83million mark.

Following on from those reports, though, The Sun point to Haaland as being a 'key factor' in the Bellingham saga as they, seemingly, open the door to him following the Norway striker to the Etihad Stadium next summer. Countless other sides are also thought to be in the mix for Bellingham.

Bellingham has three years left to run on his Dortmund contract. He has been capped 17 times at international level and is set to play a starring role for England during the impending World Cup finals in Qatar.

Elsewhere, reports from Italy suggest Nathan Ake could move to Inter Milan on loan. Ake, 27, headed to the Etihad Stadium from Bournemouth for around £40million two summers ago as he continues to compete with Ruben Dias, John Stones, Aymeric Laporte and Manuel Akanji for a place in the team.

However, chances might be limited for the Netherlands international this season - once Stones and Laporte return from injury and given how well Akanji has performed since his deadline day switch. FC Inter News earmark Ake as a potential replacement for Stefan de Vrij either on loan or as a permanent transfer.
