Erik ten Hag has won over the Manchester United faithful before he has even arrived in the city it would seem as the Dutchman already has a chant in his honour.
The Ajax boss was confirmed as Ralf Rangnick's successor last month but will not officially take charge of the Red Devils until his work in Amsterdam is done and the current campaign has concluded. The process to hire a permanent appointment was a long one for the Old Trafford hierarchy but they were left impressed with Ten Hag's football philosophy.
If recent form is to go by, Ten Hag has his work cut out with United, who have failed to qualify for the Champions League next term and could instead see their European football come in the form of the Europa League. United still have one game left to play but have already seen this season become the worst in terms of points registered in their Premier League history.
The only positive for the United faithful has been Ten Hag's appointment, which has sparked optimism among fans due to his stellar work in Amsterdam. Ajax are within touching distance of what would be the 52-year-old's third Eredivisie title.
All of United's games since Ten Hag's appointment have seen the Red Devils fans enjoy their new chant in honour of the Dutchman which is sung to the the tune of Fat Les’ smash-hit Vindaloo. It has managed to make its way onto the radar of the incoming manager.
"I have seen that. It’s creative, well-found. Playful, fun," the Ajax boss answered when asked whether he had the song. Ten Hag also kept his cards close to his chest over the prospect of bringing a number of Ajax stars with him to Manchester.

Jurrien Timber, Lisandro Martinez and even ex-West Ham striker Sebastian Haller have all been touted with switches to Old Trafford, but Ten Hag has insisted there are no plans in place for those deals to happen.
With that being said, he also ended the rumour that the Dutch giants are expecting to block any move for any of their players that are the subject of intense interest from United.
"No, there are no agreements about that," Ten Hag explained when asked whether Ajax would prevent any transfers. "I now have very good players, but it’s not an issue at all."
United's most recent outing came in the form of a 4-0 defeat by Brighton in what was one of the Red Devils' most humiliating afternoon's of a torrid season.
