Erik ten Hag can complete dream Manchester United line-up with £200million spend

Manchester United have several items on the agenda before switching their focus to the upcoming window, but armed with £200million Erik ten Hag could finalise his dream line-up.

Having allowed Cristiano Ronaldo to leave under controversial circumstances mid-season, United have bided their time to try and replace the five-time Ballon d'Or winner permanently. England captain Harry Kane is their prime target in that search with Napoli sensation Victor Osimhen also drawing interest.

Aside from signing a prolific frontman, United want another central midfielder when the market reopens with previous interest in Frenkie de Jong, Declan Rice and Jude Bellingham resurfacing. However, money will not be the only potential stumbling block when it comes to attracting those three players.

Amid lingering question marks over Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka at right-back, there is also possibility Ten Hag will look to strengthen in that position. Jeremie Frimpong and Benjamin Pavard are among the names to have been linked with a switch, so too Inter Milan and Netherlands player Denzel Dumfries.

Of course, generating funds through player sales will be vitally important to United if they are to make moves across the board. In that respect, the club are open to selling Harry Maguire, Brandon Williams, Alex Telles and Anthony Martial, while offers will be considered for Academy graduate Dean Henderson as Ten Hag is thought to be growing increasingly impatient with Jadon Sancho.

Ten Hag wants United to be ruthless when it comes to outgoings before next season and, if key figures in the boardroom follow that direction, there could be plenty to lay on the table for Kane and other targets. It could, ultimately, result in a dream line-up to unleash at Old Trafford and beyond.

In the scenario United get their hands on Frimpong, De Jong and Kane, here is one potential first-choice XI for opponents to contend with. Spoiler alert; it looks quite dangerous!
