Erik Sviatchenko joins wacky social media craze as former Celtic star finds novel use for toilet roll

Former Celtic defender Erik Sviatchenko has headed to Instagram to show off his toilet roll keepie-uppie skill as he joins the burgeoning 'stay at home challenge' which sees footballers perform wacky video tasks.

The big defender is recorded using hand sanitizer while surrounded by his two young children before beginning to juggle a toilet roll with his feet.

While more known for his heading prowess than his silky skills, the Danish international does mange to keep the roll up four times before losing control.

Clearly satisfied with his performance, the 28-year-old aims a karate kick at the camera before calling out Brazilian team-mate Evander for something similar.

Sviatchenko arrived at the Hoops in 2016 for £1.5m before returning in January 2018 after being deemed surplus to requirements by Brendan Rodgers .

Perrie Edwards of Little Mix caused a viral sensation when she posted footage of Liverpool star boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain dancing up a stairway in their home.

The singer posted the short clip saying: "Precautionary self isolation can be fun".
