Tottenham Hotspur are set to sit down with Erik Lamela and thrash out his future amid fresh interest from Serie A.
The Argentine is approaching the final year of his contract in North London and he is yet to commit his long-term future to Spurs.
The 29-year-old is keen to remain at Tottenham, according to a report in the Daily Star, although Italian side Bologna are keeping tabs on him and exploring a move for him.
Lamela has made 29 appearances this season, scoring four goals which included a memorable rabona strike in the North London Derby with Arsenal.
Injury has limited his impact this campaign, though, and out of those 29 games only five have been starts in the Premier League.
Bologna are the latest side to express an interest in recruiting Lamela, who has experience of Serie A having spent two years at Roma prior to his move to England in 2013.
Siniša Mihajlović's side are said to be eyeing up the Spurs man as a replacement for Riccardo Orsolini who has been strongly linked with AC Milan.
Sporting director Walter Sabatini said: “Lamela is one of the names we are looking into.
"We are trying to understand if there are possibilities to get there. We’ll see.”
