Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Erik Lamela is facing a short spell on the sidelines.
The Argentine playmaker has been a regular in the Lilywhites side so far this season, making 10 appearances across all competitions and scoring two goals in the process.
However, Spurs head coach Jose Mourinho revealed ahead of the Europa League win over Ludogorets that Lamela would miss the trip to Bulgaria.
"Lamela has a little problem for a few weeks and after the last match we decided it's the moment to stop and have this week, plus the two weeks of international, for him to recover fully," Mourinho said in his pre-match press conference.
As a result, the 28-year-old will miss this weekend's Premier League clash against West Bromwich Albion and is a doubt to face Manchester City after the international break.
With that said, Lamela remains in positive spirits despite the injury setback.
Taking to social media on Friday afternoon, the midfielder uploaded a few images and videos of him already working hard to be available for selection again.
The footage below shows Lamela's right foot in a protective boot, but he has made a vow that Spurs fans will love.
"I have a problem on my foot and I have to be out of the field for a short time to fix it," he posted on Instagram.
"I'm already working to get back in the best shape I can."
Luckily for Mourinho, Lamela's absence for the trip to the Hawthorns is unlikely to be too much of a problem as he's spoilt for choices across the forward line.
Gareth Bale, Lucas Moura, and Steven Bergwijn are all competing to complete the front three that is likely to include Harry Kane and Son Heung-min.
