Tottenham players Erik Lamela and Japhet Tanganga have sent Jose Mourinho a message after the club's 2-1 win over Middlesbrough in their FA Cup third round replay.
Giovanni Lo Celso gave Spurs the lead inside of two minutes and Lamela made it 2-0 just 13 minutes later.
Mourinho's men threatened to make it 3-0 on several occasions during the game but it was Boro who hit back late on thanks to George Saville's 83rd minute strike.
Tottenham held on to book a date with Southampton in the fourth round of the FA Cup later this month and post-match both Lamela and Tanganga were interviewed by the BBC.
Lamela was making a well earned start for the club after time on the sidelines this season due to injury whilst Tanganga was making his second start in succession after his first Premier League start came in the loss to Liverpool at the weekend.
Lamela told the BBC: "I am very happy to be back on the pitch playing. It's so nice to play with my team-mates.
"It's very important to be playing. I was very sad during the last few months because of my injury."
Tanganga added: "We had chances to score. We shouldn't have conceded. We were sloppy and made it hard for ourselves.
"I am just grateful to the gaffer for trusting me. I'm grateful to the club and the players. I just hope he picks me again. I'm just ready for the next game."
