Eric Weddle and Antonio Brown went at each other in Twitter spat

Rams safety Eric Weddle is a great follow on Twitter for several reasons, and not just because of his postgame ice cream celebrations. He’s never afraid to speak his mind or share his opinion on various topics, including Antonio Brown’s fallout in the NFL.

Brown isn’t currently on an NFL team and Weddle made it clear that the league doesn’t need him. He got into a spat with Brown on Twitter as the two went at it with several tweet exchanges.

It all started when Brown said the NFL needs him, which Golden Tate (and Weddle) disagreed with.

That’s when Brown responded and said Weddle just wanted attention.

Weddle and Brown were division rivals for a few years when the veteran safety played for the Ravens. Weddle is now with the Rams and Brown is out of the league after being cut by the Raiders and Patriots this year alone.

Weddle called Brown “childish” this offseason, too, after Brown took a shot at JuJu Smith-Schuster.
