Eric Trump mocked for sharing Jeopardy! clue about himself and Jared Kushner

Eric Trump was mocked by social media users for boasting about being one of the answers to popular American game show, Jeopardy!.

The 34-year-old businessman tweeted a picture of a television, carrying a "who is" question from the long running program.

"Eric Trump to Jared Kushner", it stated.

Alongside the image, Mr Trump wrote: "Always fun being a Jeopardy question," before going on to answer it in the form of a question.

"Who is brother in law?"

Twitter users quickly lampooned Mr Trump, replying with their own Jeopardy! style questions.

Some drew attention to the ongoing investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and the Trump campaign.

Mr Kushner, who is married to Ivanka Trump, has been questioned as part of a Senate investigation into alleged links between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin.

It emerged that he not only spoke to Moscow's ambassador in December 2016, but met the head of a US-sanctioned, Russian state-owned bank.

Although he was one of Donald Trump's most senior advisers, he had his White House security clearance downgraded last month.

He had been receiving top-level security briefings, but background checks into Mr Kushner had still not been completed, so he had interim clearance only.

He and other White House aides who have yet to receive permanent clearance will not get top-level briefings.

"What is “babysitter while sister visits him in jail?” another added.
