Golden State Warriors power forward Eric Paschall lamented the deaths of two figures in sports and entertainment that came over the last two days.
On Friday, iconic actor Chadwick Boseman died at the age of 43. On Saturday, it was announced that former NBA player Clifford Robinson had died at the age of 53.
Paschall reacted to both over Twitter as the world found out about their untimely passings.
After Boseman’s estate announced that the actor had passed away from colon cancer, which he was diagnosed with four years ago, Paschall tweeted “Rest In Peace King!” and then quote-tweeted the Boseman statement to express his pain in the news.

Boseman, best known for playing T’Challa in “Black Panther,” also played revolutionary Black figures including Jackie Robinson in “42,” U.S. Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall in “Marshall” and James Brown in “Get on Up.”
Paschall retweeted a couple other posts about Boseman.

The next day, UConn announced that Robinson passed away. His family later released a statement to The Athletic’s Shams Charania that said Robinson had died of Lymphoma.
Paschall commiserated yet another death.

Robinson played 18 seasons in the NBA, spending eight years on the Portland Trail Blazers, where he was named the 1993 Sixth Man of the Year, an All-Star in 1994 and made two All-Defensive second teams.
Robinson also played for the Phoenix Suns, Detroit Pistons, Golden State Warriors and New Jersey Nets. His 1,380 career games are the 14th-most in NBA history.
The NBA honored both men, along with University of Arizona coaching legend Lute Olson, before games on Saturday.
