Eric O'Sullivan is the only addition to Andy Farrell's Ireland squad for next Sunday's Autumn Nations Cup encounter with Georgia at the Aviva Stadium.
The Ulster loosehead prop is included after Ed Byrne's calf tightness ruled him out of last Saturday's 18-7 defeat to England at Twickenham.
O'Sullivan has been in good form for his province and gets the nod to join the squad as cover, with Ryan expected to train fully this week.
Munster prop John Ryan, who picked up a knock in the warm-up on Saturday, is expected to train fully this week.
"If Eric is called upon, he'll do a brilliant job," said Ulster boss Dan McFarland at the weekend.
"I don't know what Andy's thinking is or what the situation in the camp is but he has got a lot of games under his belt at a high level."
It was speculated that young Leinster out-half Harry Byrne and lock Ryan Baird plus Munster scrum-half Craig Casey could come into the squad with a view to making their Test debuts.
But Farrell has decided to stick with the players he has already selected for the fixture with second tier opponents.
Johnny Sexton and Robbie Henshaw will continue their respective rehab programmes with the Ireland squad this week.
