Eric Ebron says Colts are team to beat in AFC South

Though the AFC South is a division that is seemingly up for grabs, Indianapolis Colts tight end Eric Ebron doesn’t view it that way.

Of course, he’s going to be confident in his own team taking home the AFC South crown. He made it clear who he thinks will win the division by the end of the season, telling Josina Anderson of ESPN that they—not the Jacksonville Jaguars or anyone else—are the team to beat.

There are many analysts that believe the Colts are the favorites to win the AFC South. As long as quarterback Andrew Luck isn’t too hampered by the lingering calf injury he’s been dealing with since May.

The biggest threat to the Colts in 2019 might not be the Jaguars, though. That role likely belongs to the Houston Texans, who will be sporting one of the best offenses in the NFL behind Deshaun Watson and DeAndre Hopkins.

It should be a heated battle throughout the entire season, but Ebron is confident the Colts are going to finish with a top-four playoff seed when it’s all said and done.
