Eric Ebron frustrated with role in offense

The Indianapolis Colts offense has gone through some changes during the 2019 season and among them is the production from tight end Eric Ebron.

After a career year in 2018, Ebron hasn’t been a factor much at all. The frustration has grown, and he told reporters he met with head coach Frank Reich about his role in the offense.

On the season, Ebron has 18 receptions for 248 yards and three touchdowns. This is coming off of a career year that includes him leading the tight end position in receiving touchdowns.

The Colts don’t have the prolific passing offense like they did with Andrew Luck. The consistency simply isn’t there. There are a myriad of factors leading to Ebron‘a lack of production—including some drops on his end.

It will be interesting to see if this meeting will change anything, but Ebron is making his voice heard.
