Eric Dickerson’s attempt to change Rams’ new logo didn’t work

By now you’ve probably heard that the Los Angeles Rams’ new logo hasn’t received many positive reviews from fans, leading to outrage on social media and people begging the team to change course. Even Rams legend Eric Dickerson joined the fight against the new logo, meeting with executives in an attempt to have them reconsider the redesign.

Dickerson recently shared an update on his push to change the logo, and it’s not good news for fans. He said his attempt came up short and the Rams are set on keeping the new logo set – which isn’t surprising in the least bit.

“I spoke with the Rams front office on behalf of our great fans and former players. Unfortunately, the front office is set on their new logos,” Dickerson wrote. “I made our feelings crystal clear… why change the best logo in the NFL?”

It was always highly unlikely that Dickerson was going to get the front office to change a logo two years in the making, but at least he tried to help the large contingent of disappointed and angry fans.

They appreciated his help, with many saying the next step is to simply not buy the new merchandise. That could have an impact after the team said it will listen to fans if they prefer one logo over another.
