Eric Clapton announces three shows at London’s Royal Albert Hall: How to get tickets

Eric Clapton has announced three upcoming dates at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

The legendary guitarist will perform at the Kensington venue in May next year, returning to the capital for the first time since headlining the British Summer Time festival this summer.

The shows will mark the legendary guitarist’s only UK dates of 2019.

Clapton will perform the following dates.

  • May 13 2019 – London, Royal Albert Hall
  • May 15 2019 – London, Royal Albert Hall
  • May 16 2019 – London, Royal Albert Hall

How can I get tickets?

Tickets for the shows go on sale at 10am on Friday October 26. They can be purchased here.

Band members Chris Stainton, Nathan East, Doyle Bramhall and Sonny Emory will also perform with Clapton for the three dates.

The news comes following the release of Clapton’s festival album Happy Xmas, which features the track Jingle Bells — dedicated to the memory of late DJ Avicci.

2018 also saw the release of the film Eric Clapton: Life in 12 Bars, Lili Fini Zanuck’s documentary about the guitarist’s career.

Clapton came to fame following stints in groups like The Yardbirds, The Bluesbreakers, Cream and Blind Faith, before embarking on a hugely successful solo career — selling over 130 million albums worldwide.
